China’s A00 aluminium ingot price closes the week at RMB18,860/t with a drop; Average alumina spot price inches down by RMB1/t

On Friday, August 26, China's A00 aluminium ingot price went up by RMB 10 per tonne to rest at RMB 18,860 per tonne. The average prices are likely to range between RMB 18,840 per tonne and RMB 18,880 per tonne, with spot contracts to be traded at a discount price of RMB 40 per tonne.
As per the SMM data, the A00 aluminium ingot price has changed in only three areas. In Gongyi, the price has drifted downwards by RMB 20 per tonne to settle at RMB 18,740 per tonne, followed by Tianjin and Linyi, where the prices have fallen by RMB10 per tonne to rest at RMB 18,810 per tonne and RMB 18,860 per tonne. However, the price in other provinces has shown no chance. Like in Foshan, the price has stood the same at RMB 18,680 per tonne, followed by in Wuxi, where the price has shown no change to settle at RMB 18,850 per tonne. On the same day, the price in Hangzhou, Chongqing and Shenyang remained restrained to stand at RMB 18,890 per tonne, RMB 18,780 per tonne and RMB 18,800 per tonne.
The average alumina spot price in China has also inched down by RMB 1 per tonne to come in at RMB 2,952 per tonne. Guizhou's price has decreased by RMB 10 per tonne to stand at RMB 2,890 per tonne.
The aluminium alloys (ADC12) price has remained restrained at RMB 19,200 per tonne, with the average prices expected to range between RMB 19,100 per tonne and RMB 19,300 per tonne. On the same day, the aluminium alloy (A356) price also showed no change, scoring at RMB 20,250 per tonne. The average price for the same is expected to range between RMB 20,100 per tonne and RMB 20,400 per tonne. Aluminium alloy (A380) price recorded no alternation and closed at RMB 20,200 per tonne. The average price for the same is expected to orbit between RMB 20,100 per tonne and RMB 20,300 per tonne.
