As updated by Shanghai Metals Market, average spot alumina price in China has increased from RMB 2565 per tonne on February 28 to RMB 2574 per tonne on March 2. This marks an increase of RMB 9 per tonne or 0.35 per cent on Friday.
The prices of alumina in East, Central, and North China markets have risen by RMB 5 per tonne, RMB 10 per tonne and RMB 10 per tonne to stand at RMB 2575 per tonne, RMB 2575 per tonne, and RMB 2590 per tonne. Alumina-South remains unchanged at RMB 2520 per tonne.
Alumina (Imported) price stands RMB 40 per tonne higher on Monday, 02 March 2020. The price stands at RMB 2580 per tonne.
A00 aluminium ingot price on Monday has extended drop by RMB 120 per tonne from RMB 13170 per tonne. The price today stands at RMB 13050 per tonne. This marks the third consecutive fall of aluminium ingot prices. The price is expected to move within a range of RMB 13030 per tonne-13070 per tonne. Spot aluminium price is likely to be traded at a discount of RMB 100-60 per tonne.
Aluminium prices in Foshan, Wuxi, and Hangzhou stand at RMB 13050 per tonne, RMB 13030 per tonne and RMB 13040 per tonne, down RMB 100 per tonne, RMB 70 per tonne and RMB 60 per tonne. The prices in Chongqing, Shenyang, Tianjin, Linyi, and Gongyi have decreased to stand at RMB 13060 per tonne, RMB 13055 per tonne, RMB 13060 per tonne, RMB 13140 per tonne and RMB 12960 per tonne.
